Icarus: “Like a poor worm on earth I lie. What is above me way up high? What is beyond that endless sky? I ask, I think, I long, I sigh: I want to try. I will surpass the eagle‘s cry. I do need wax, I do need wings, and then I‘ll fly. My prudent father‘s warnings I deny. I want to know the answer to all „why“: I‘ll try. The sun‘s my goal. I am my body and my soul. Man am I and no fluttering butterfly, I take the risk, I am not shy, I want to know and want to try… Daedalus: “Man is not God. The sun is hot. In fire and glory, Son, you‘ll die.“ Icarus: “All men are mortal, death I do not fear. Support me and sustain me, Father dear, my chance is here, heaven is clear, please help me, Father, for my aim is near.“ Daedalus: „Consider sun and sea! Blessed be your end as was your birth.“ Icarus tried and flew and fell, and by his father he was buried in the earth. Gisela Munz-Schmidt
It reminds me of TITAN, TITANIC and some other things……
